Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Atellier respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects the businesses that use Atellier to do the same. This policy explains how copyright owners can report content hosted on Atellier that they believe infringes their rights, how users can respond, and how we handle repeat infringers. It applies to content our customers upload to or publish through Atellier, including proposals, mockups, landing pages, forms, portals, and files. It forms part of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Submitting a Takedown Notice

If you believe material available through Atellier infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated copyright agent (Section 4). Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), your notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them);
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that you want removed or disabled, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it — for example, the URL of the page or proposal where it appears;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you, such as your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Notices that do not substantially include these elements may not be acted on. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are not sure whether material infringes your rights, consider consulting a lawyer before sending a notice.

2. What Happens Next

When we receive a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified, notify the customer or user who posted it, and provide them with a copy of the notice. Because our customers control the content they publish, we may also ask the customer to remove the material themselves.

3. Counter-Notices

If material you posted was removed or disabled and you believe this was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated copyright agent. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3), your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled;
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material; and
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Atellier may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person's agent.

When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who submitted the original notice. Unless that person notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the material no less than 10 and no more than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

4. Designated Copyright Agent

Send takedown notices and counter-notices to:

Please use the subject line "DMCA notice" or "DMCA counter-notice". This contact is only for copyright matters; other messages sent to it may not receive a response. To report other abuse, see the Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we will disable or terminate the accounts of customers and users who are repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the Service or remove content at our discretion where we believe infringement is occurring, whether or not a notice has been received.

6. Customers' Responsibility for Content

Customers are responsible for making sure they have the rights, licenses, and permissions needed for everything they upload to or publish through Atellier — including logos, images, artwork, photographs, fonts, and text — as set out in our Terms of Service.
